I wouldn't say this game makes Street Fighter IV look any less appealing.

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom might turn out to be an actual competent fighter out there in Japan, we westerners should just be appreciative of a game like Street Fighter IV to be at hand on next generation consoles.

Since when were people most worried about storylines in fighting games?

I've just played it. It's very similiar to Marval Vs Capcom but the Street Fighter characters in the game suck. Specials and skills are very easy to do considering that you only can use the Wiimote thus only use the directional buttons + A & B. The game is still fun and the graphics are really nice for somethings thats on the Wii.

I haven't played SF4 so I can't really compare that to Tatsunoko Vs Capcom.

Specifically?
Street Fighter 4
Virtua Fighter
pretty much all fighting games made after 2006...
Maybe its just me since I grew up on fighting games... but they just dont seem hard anymore.

Pushing buttons doesn't take skill.

You can button mash your way through thick and thin in Marvel Vs. Capcom.

Nope. Thus why SF4 sucks... all you have to do is button-mash.
You do button mashing on any fighting game. It isn't that hard.

To be good, you just need to come up with good strategies.

Thats without using easy mode or turbo. The bosses is ridiculous in both MVSC and in MVSC2.

The last two bosses in Tatsunoko is a giant robot and a giant ball of WTF.

The first boss you fight is a yellow giant robot. Hes the easy to kill boss. Even though hes a giant yellow robot, you can cancel his moves and knock him down to perform specials.

The second boss is just a giant ball with tentacles and razor sharp weapons. Impossible to dodge, by the time its stops attacking to perform its other attacks, your HP is 2/3 gone.

My favorite character in the game so far is the Robotic/Ninja dude. I can't read Japanese lawl.

Excessive juggling combos? Primitive fighting system? No thanks.
SFIV is more of the same for the past 20 years or so, but at least it has a decent system behind it. Incompetent producer or not.
