Tapion and Link. The same person?

Hey I just watched DBZ movie 13 Exploding dragonfist and realised for the first time that Tapion's resemblance to Link from Legend of Zelda is uncanny.

Similarities
They both have those elf-like ears,
They both have a legendary sword and both and
They play a magical instrument (btw Tapion's flute looks a lot like an Ocarina.)

Differences
Different hair
Different skin colour and
Different clothes.

anyways what do you guys think?

that summed it up for me, if tehy have the same shape ears they must be the same person

and the king arthur referance (Z Sword)

Well here comes what i heard:
The founder of Zelda... dreamed everytime of elfs...then once he thought to make his own game! So he decide to make it very intersting and actionfull....And he getted the idea to make something like King-Arthur History! So he made the game and he become famous...
Now what i heard from freaks of dbz and Zelda:
Tapion is a copy of zelda andthe same for Kaioshins....
Only because Tapion and the kaioshins want to become a Charakter wich is very different of th humans. And i think they made such a legendary sword like z-sword like Hyrule-sword because there have to be a nice story 2! ^^

Wasn't Chrono Trigger designed by the same person that made DBZ? Even if it wasn't he kinda looks like Chrono to me, except with pointy ears and less hair =P

The person who DREW for the REMAKE of Crono Trigger was the same person who drew for DBZ. Theres a small .gif somewhere that shows this. Basically all the faces in DBZ are build off of the same background.

I wouldn't be suprised if Toriyama got a slight idea for him off of Link; I kinda wondered that myself when I first saw him.

What? Toriyama, creator of ALL of DB universe ('cept for GT, but then again, that's why GT is crappy) totally did all the character and monster design for Chrono Trigger. If by remake, you mean Radical Dreamers or Chrono Cross, then you're wrong...the art's too different from his distinct art style...

Toriyama also does art for the Dragon Warrior/Quest series.

He loves Enix, and Chrono Trigger was co-created by Enix and Square.

besides.. if they have 3 things in common doesnt mean they are the same person lol.

yeah.. i saw it too, maybe if you fuse chrono trigger and link it'll become tapion ( just kidding )
maybe if there's a zelda mod someone can make a tapion model for link..
i like them.... chrono,link and tapion ( i also have the melody of tapion called tapion theme )
