Sword of the Stars Demo

Anyone play the demo? It's a turn based game where your goal is to conquer the solar system and defeat your opponent (like many other space turned based games). I thought it was pretty interesting and I usually don't play turned based games.

I got it but didn't like it. The combat sounded like it was great but when I played the game it was too much like a board game for my tastes.

Then again I'm not very fair--I'm not a very big fan of 'turn based' games.

I'll download it, it sounds fun. It doesn't have Starforce on it, right? I remember a Space Turn based game had starforce, not sure if it was this one.

I'm not a very big fan of turn based games either, this happens to be one of the few (out of two) that I've played.

No, it doesn't have Starforce. At least when I installed it and ran it I wasn't given a Starforce activation prompt.
