I'm definitely gonna grab this, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and the new Mortal Kombat.
These are legendary fighting games with years of experience.

Rufus is not close to a top tier. Keep in mind i'm talking about the "plot". Where did Makoto talk about winning the tournament? Zangief talked about winning and beating the last guy and even has a picture of him beating Seth. All the endings are a big "what if?" anyways, the only real way to know what canonically happened is through the next game. Chun Li is said to maybe have won the SF4 tournament because in SF3 Urien talks about her "bringing down that organization" which could be referring to S.I.N.

I'm willing to guess that Chun-Li is the plot winner. She is a beast.

But, realisticly...
We all know Ryu (wins) and keeps the plot going, especially when Daigo is winning tournaments with him.

The only tournament Ryu won was the 1st Street Fighter tournament. SF2 tournament was won by either Chun Li or Guile, SF3 tournament was won by Alex, and no one knows for certain who won the SF4 tournament but it mightve been Chun Li.

There are many possible Winners of SF4 from what I seen.

SF2 was canceled due to Akuma I think. Cause he went beast mode.

SF1 - Ryu

SF2 - Cancel or Guile win

SF3- Possible Chances

SF4- Alex

These are story wise.


But I can't wait to see those 2 new characters for the Arcade release. Rainbow Mika and Rolento probably.
