wel what happens if steam shuts down its connection to other players ?
then ESF wouldent be any longer playable cause of u have to connect to the steam server before u can play online or offline. ??????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm confused by your question and do not understand it.
That seems like a general steam question, and if steam did go down then ESF would go down too, I guess.
But valve would not take it down without offering an alternative, so do not sweat.

I doubt that STEAM goes OFFLINE anytime sooner ^^
Seeing as how many Gazillion people connect to it everyday.
Valve would be annoiyed by the HateMails and stuff.

Also they get Money afterall out of STEAM like when you bought Half-Life 2 you had to register it over STEAM without STEAM HL2 would just be an CD in its case ( i think ,cause i dont have HL2 )
