Steam Help!!!

Hey ummmm I am having a slight problem running esf with steam... whenever it tries to load the game an error screen pops up and says it can't load my client.dll file... ;( THis is really upsetting me so please help!!! :\

Yeah the same thing is happening to me. As soon as I got steam with oucnter strike v1.6 I have been unable to play esf.

I changed the target on the properties for esf to C: \Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\my email add\half-life but it still don't work.

By the way how can I reinstall ESF? Would I have to download ESF again?

Hey I just sorted it out.

What I done was I went to C: \Sierra\Half-Life . That was my orignal location for half-life before I got steam. In there look for fmod.dll . Once you have found it copy it and move it to your new half-life folder. It should be something like this C: \Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your email add\half-life . Just paste that file in there and it should work.
