Statewide economies

As most people know, Michigan is pretty rough off with it's economy, but i was wondering, is everyone else in the union as bad off as us?

Opinions? Because I might need to move if i don't find a job soon, McDonalds isn't even hiring anymore. =/

Move to Alberta.

It's economy is booming right now.

I hear places like McDonalds and Tim Horton's are paying $16/hr.

The catch though is that cost of living is through the roof.

But yeah Pennsylvania's economy I do not have much clue about. I always thought Philadelphia had a decent economy, just a bad crime rate.
