My 4th model!

i'm starting on a trunks model, and i need some side images, and front images that are to scale so i can use them as referances. Anybody know a good site where i can get such images?

erm thanks, but the links don't work, and I don't know if i need them for now, here's an update.



I had better more detailed versions of the face, but the poly count was like 1 million. By the way i did it with nurbs, and i spent 4 hours reducing the polyz.

deleted images cause page loads slow.

sure do what you want with it. When i release it i'd probably let people rip it, not that its gonna be worth ripping though. lol, and thanks for the link. I'm checking them out right now.

hair is waay too blocky o_O the face is pretty good though, if u ask me o_O

looks good. like neon said before, its way too blocky. and the nose is a little wierd. it looks like 2 triangles for his nose. other then that its good.

no i made 2 types of hair, and i posted both of them but that's over now. I decided to make bojacks trunks model. I also have this problem with skinning. Anybody know the link to smo's tutorial for skinning? I don't see it in the stickies. I'm tured of making a load of 516 skin maps for different parts. I need to learn how to skin where all the body parts and stuff are on the same skin map or something. I hear it has to do with unwrap u.v thing.

k then i guess it's okay to release this model, but i have another question. Why doesn't trunks do his melee attacks that i animated? Is the melee attacking melee1, melee2, or melee3 or is it the blow up and stuff? They all have animations though, and it still doesn't work.

looks good and all, just that his boots are more pointy....and is that a belt on his back ? ? ? and his back view (hair) looks a little pointy

dude the whole thing is on the same skinmap. and i don't see how what ur saying helps. Is there a way i can use unwrap on just one side instead of both sides? or will i have to detach a piece of the model and then reattach it later?

u did a flat skinmap, you ned to do one so you cna have seperate skins on the front and back when need be, just select all the faces on the back of the belt, regroup and remap them to an unused part of the skinmap., its all very easy
