Anyone heard of this? It is pretty old.

Basically some guy started a project: He built a website where people created their own view of the scenes from Star Wars a new hope (For example: the trash compactor scene or the Death Star blow up scene being made by legos, cartoon, your own children acting as the characters at your house.)

Each clip is 15 seconds, when they have enough material (every scene gets a couple of fan made videos, for the main director to choose from) they are just picking the scenes they liked and put all the clips into the all movie, chronologically.

The entire audio is from the custom videos, only the soundtrack remains original.

It is pretty cool, they finished a New Hope around 2009 and they already well in remaking Empire Strikes Back.
