Does anyone know how to bind sprites to the bones of a model and will it work with Milkshape or will I need a program like 3d Max studio?

You would have to use $attachment in the .qc to define a sprite's origin, then you can use (event XXX) do call the sprite.

What exactly do you want to do?

This is going to sound completely stupid and im going to do it even if people tell me not to and its for personal use and i'm just experimenting around

Since you can't use sprites as auras because of the code, i was wondering if i could bind sprites to a transperant aura so that i wouldnt have to change to code but i dont know how to bind them to the joints thats the prob

You can't set enough $attachments to make an aura look good, so just scrap it :)

max amount of attachments is 3, HL will not allow anymore.

Ok, how do i just attatch it? Nop, i wunt scrap it :p like i said im not aiming for a good aura, im just messing around thats all.
