I think this game has real potential. Probably a game that will be remembered for a long long time (and played for an almost equal amount of time).

Will it be out for PC though? Too lazy to watch that entire video for clues.

wait so lemme understand this.

in this game do you go from being a microscopic organism, to playing god?
if so, it sounds cool.
being the astronomer, id get really into the game if they included enormous celestial events during the space part.

Yeah, you start out as a single-cell organism. You evolve by eating weaker species and avoiding superior species.

After that, you get out of the primordial 'sou' and evolve into a creature. You then control that creature, find food, mate etc. After you reach a certain level of intelligence, you evolve again. Then, you don't control a single character, but act as a sort of manager for the tribe that you now control. It's like a light strategy game at this point. Then, after some time your species evolves again to a higher level of intelligence, and you control things on a city level. You're able to design buildings, vehicles etc. After this level, you go to the space level, where you can use your UFO to cruise around your world and go to other worlds.

I think I got most of that right, but please correct me if anything is wrong.

No, you play God through the entire game. You create a race of beings, design their evolution, and play the hell out of it.

Most games are lucky to get a month of polishing. Their giving Spore a ridiculous amount of time for that.

i feel this will be one of the most Polished games to come out of EA in a dogs age. the feeling i get is that EA don't want to rush Will Wright at all, unlike every other game from EA. i want this game!
