uhhh, sorry but I don't quite get what you're saying, are you saying that after someone does a combo and presses a certain key before a time limit runs out, you get a speed kill aka instant kill atack?

oh, okay.
but I wouldn't really agree, because if so then trunks might lose his upper hand in melee, unless this gets added for him, then he'd be extremely strong.

If it was just some thing you had to learn how to time to maximize your combo's damage, and one that didn't add a huge amount of damage, I'd support it. You couldn't really make a cheap script for that, although ping would still play into it some. Super Mario RPG style.

And the things mentioned in the design documends about advanced melee do.

Im guessing this could work like Squals gunblade trigger in FF8.

If you hit it right the damage is maximum if not its about 70 or 80 %

Bah. Something like this would only make it so that everyone would have to have low ping in order to play well. In the older versions, it was possible to play with 250 ping and still play pretty well (if you didn't rely on teleportation). Now, 150 ping or so is pushing it. Are we going to need to have 80 ping or lower in order to be effective in 1.3? I sure as hell hope not <_<.
