Everything looks miraculous, but I still do think that the Star Wars characters do not fit into this game at all, they seem out of place.

So did Link, Spawn and Heihachi Mishima. But they were added anyway, most likely out of fan-service.

The only character out of that list you made that seemed in place was Spawn.

Spawn wasn't even spawn, he was just some flying dude with fireballs. My favorite addition was Heihachi because I know how to use him proficiently in Tekken and am therefore able to destroy fools with him in Soul Calibur.

I don't mind star wars characters so long as they play fairly. I like the brawl-esque additions... they add flavour.
