This actually looks surprisingly damn good.

Holy crap, Mark Wahlberg eh? The trailer makes the movie look almost exactly like the game, with diving and bullet time included. Looks super artsy... I hope they keep it noir and comic booky.

The girl looks hot, although I dunno about a love interest for this movie. I didn't see it, but didn't they do the same thing for Hitman? These types of movies need no love interest.

Seeing it in live action instead of playing it would be great but, it seems botched up.

Doesn't seem botched up at all... it looks exactly like the game in every respect, and it sounds like the game too. Having thoroughly enjoyed both games on more than one occasion I'd say this is a rather faithful adaptation, provided that he isn't actually killing fallen angels and it's all in his head, which I imagine it will be.

I'm thinking the fallen angels are symbolic and only appear when Max kills someone. If you look closely at the scene where the angel pulls a guy out of the window, you can pretty much tell someone (probably Max) unloaded into the guy beforehand. The weight of his body and probably whatever bullets went through him or missed is what caused him to crash through.
