LOL, poor Nvidia, I wonder how they are feeling about it now, must be pretty weird having a name change to an enemy one and stuff, but doesn't affect me so yeah, now I'm gonna buy AMD and not Ati.

Actually AMD scrambled a press release stating that this is not the case. It appears AMD recognizes the brand strength of ATi, and doesn't want to alienate the established fanbase.

AMD is supposedly open-sourcing a "functional" part of ATI's drivers...

Is this the start of something good (like ATI not completely sucking)? We can only hope. :eek:
