It seems to be working out quite decently, this one took a lot of work but I'm very pleased with the end result.

I would prefer a black and white render.

Hmm completely?

I'll try that later, should be like 2 seconds work.

Oh, and I made it in Photoshop CS2.

I prefer this one a lot more than the one you're using currently, something about the render in the current one doesn't gel as well, however, I think you should have applied a few more effects to the background of the new one, like in your current one ^^

I love ya work man, love it.

Blur the background to create depth.

The render used in my current one is from the game ;) That's probably what's throwing it off. I might go on a bit of an edit spree later tonight.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

EDIT:

Slightly edited, greyscale, blurred version. Crits and comments again appreciated.

I think the colored one looks better...it makes it pop out more.

Great sig Rik.

Are you taking a premade stock and using it as a background or are you taking pictures and manipulating them?

Bit of both, really. I tried to get the cartoony feeling so I used a pic from the comic as a background, and edited that as well as add minor brushing and what not. It may not be my most complicated signature ever, but I still like it.
