Fitness tests, yikes. Rugby was hard, but somehow all those hill sprints look easy now. Best of luck, hopefully there wont be any slow runners on your team.

And dont get your hand shot off or you will NEVER PLAY THE GUITAR AGAIN! OHNOES!

ill learn wif my feet \o/

i changed my daily exercise routine to follow the one on this page, but i do more reps than it says to D:

http://www.mfat.co.uk/rm.php?page=rm1

and cuc. ill blow something up and take a photo. just for you :yes:

edit: after passing both initial exams, ive just recieved confirmation that my preliminary psychometric and physio exam will be a week thursday. if/when i pass that (ive no reason to believe otherwise) i should be given a date to prepare myself for the 3 day trial.

its gonna be really tough >_< but theres a Marine Commando at the career's office, who does circuit training on a tuesday and a thursday, so im gonna join him on that, and get myself above par.

im really hoping to see some dbz fanatics in training, and watch them try to unlock their hidden powers XD

"this 12 foot wall cant stop me!!! i r go.... nnnnnnnnnnNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGHHHHAAAAAA KAAAIIIOOOOO KEN!!!!"

*man falls off wall*

anyway, as amusing as that would be. im 99% certain, that whether i feel up to this or not, and whether i actually AM are 2 different things. the marines are notorious for making you put in the extra 110% (after your origional 100) no matter what level of ability you are. and in honesty. im glad of that.

even if i dont make it in. as long as i finish the weekend without giving up, ill be damned proud. and ill just train harder, longer, faster, and better. and ill get in next time.

ps. if i DO make it in, ill be retiring from active service on the forum. as i wont even have telephone access, let alone computer access, for 9 months...

on top of that.. no guitar ;_;

-_- I admire you desire to be in the marines.

Dunno if this is just for personal benefiet or the thrill of protecting one's homeland, but good luck and just hope it doesn't tear you apart, which is unlikely seein your attitude.

But I guess if you look at it from an elementary view, it's like having Gym for 9 months :yes:. But that 6 o clock thing...Man...

God damn, I'm never joining marines/military. I just got done doing only 30 minutes of hard ass training (lay on your back and hold feet up in air for about 5 minutes, bend legs all the way, jump, and bend, repeat, hold our arms out with water bottles in our hands, the huge kinds filled with water). I dont see how people can do it :S

haha, i just visualise the goal at hand.

if i make it in, ill be part of just over 6000 Green Beret's, the kings badge... to be part of one of the worlds elites. and to be proud to say i took all the **** they threw at me, and then some.

thats basically it =]

GOOD LUCK CJ!!!! i dunno how they do the trails over in america, but the ones here arent at all easy, the marines are the toughest of the tough (not including the SAS...but they are the secret service, so yeah...).

and i cant take a photo of me with an M16, since we dont use them. we either use SA80's or whatever we specialise in (i will be a small arms and CQC specialist... basically using anything smaller than anti-tank weapons, and trained as an expert marksman. CQC covers armed, and unarmed combat. it also deals lightly with combat explosives.)

Whoa, I'll be able to brag that I know a real life uber bad ass!

Might not mean much, but you'll have my infinite respect if you make it :)

haha IFFFF i make it.

as of tomorrow. gonna be doing all my current exercises with a 40kg backpack =O

thats gonna hurt ;_;

UPDATE!!!!

i had my psychometric, and physio exam today! i am physically fit enough to enter the 3 day PRMC, i had to run 2400km, which is 1.5miles, in 15 minutes. i did it in 9.

as for the psychometrics. i got the highest score they ever had at that office :D

now i just have to have an interview with the warrent officer, and then im off to the PRMC to kill myself before (hopefully) being accepted into training.
