small maps are boring

when i downloaded ESF there was just few small maps in it.
Can somebody tell me where i can download some bigger and
not so boring maps? o_o

OK i downloaded the esf_rocky but when i start to play i can't move just fire blasts thats all

well in my opinion, u can make every map good, just play it alot (i bet that they have some secrets)

and big maps can be boring aswell 2

these are some of the biggest outdoor maps made for HL!
and they do not lag!!!
do you really think cellarena is small?

the biggest map i can think of is, i think is gsf_gottespalast
is has the:
-kami hideout
-wide open terrain
-u can also go into the Hyperbolic time chamber from the kami look-out

i forgot where i downloaded it, but i'm sure it was the GSF clan
well obviously, i dont know their site, but i'll try to find it and post it in the edit

Yes, these maps are very big. They just may not seem so because it is all open and you can fly around in them.
And big maps can be VERY boring if they are just empty space.

i think wot u guys need is fw_ore_extraction, which im workin on its gonna be a big, dark map, which has one large center open area, and then there will be networks of tunnels and hallways everywhere. Its a cross between UT maps, ESF, and Metroid.

As for the main question....Let's just say both big and small maps are boring

Small maps which are too crowded = Boring
Big maps full of empty space = Boring

The maps in ESF are in general very huge. Think of normal cstrike or DMZ. I must agree with you, big empty maps are boring.
