I am almost finished making my first map (it's not all that great however lol) and I was wonderin how do you put in sky textures?

just make walls with the "sky" texture where the sky should be in the map. the "sky" textuire is included in the halflife.wad in the valve folder. youll see just a blue block in the editor when you made a sky but it will be rendered with the sky ingame.

Ok thanks, I'm doin that now. I should have some screens on here soon. I'll tell ya now though, its not as good as any other of the maps. It's the first one i ever made.

For the skies in the esf/gfx/env folder, just take the entire name of the sky minus the last two letters.

For example,

broodingbk.tga
broodingdn.tga
broodingft.tga
broodinglf.tga
broodingrt.tga
broodingup.tga

That sky name is brooding. And they all work and all look nice.
