Skinning...

i have a question about Adobe photoshop 7,when i wanna re-skin a model and i get out a simple tool like the air brush,smudge,dodge,blur,stuff like that its got a circle with an X in it instead of a little brush or finger,then when i click i get an error about texture or soemthing,can anyone help me?

an easy to sort out problem mate!, when you have loaded the pic, go on image/mode/RBG colour, this will make you capable of using full colours and certan tools, once finished, convert to indexed colour and click ok!

Yah and its also very important to re-index the image after u change it to RGB or else when u try to compile the mdl itl crash.

1. Change to RGB----edit

2. Go back to where u changed it to RGB and choose Indexed Color

3. Choose 8-bit and i like to use windows palette but thats me

hey thanks DakD i figured out hoqw to make it rgb right after i posted this but for some reason gogeta's head came out grey,thanks for the help
