Hey guys,
anyone interested in this activity? I was thinking we could combine the sketching thread with the speed painting thread. Do a sketch in pencil and then a sketch on computer. what do you guys think?
we can switch our themes week to week.
...so why dont we start off with portraits? that'd be fun!

Any amount of time is fine as long as you are having fun! see your portraits soon guys!

Ok, so let me get this straight here, first do a sketch on paper, then do the same on PC? Or just do a sketch on paper OR a sketch on PC?

you can do either a sketch on paper or a sketch on your comp OR you can do both, but you cannot scan the image in. so basically you're starting from stratch

NOTE: g0jack mentioned this to me and he said that is it alright if we do line art for a drawin and then paint it in the other. it's fine as long as you guys can do a speed painting! ;P well i just want you guys to use both threads to help you guys hopefully! good luck

Not really used to do portraits that should resemble any real life person

But this -should- be me (I'm 20, and I do look like a 16 year old girl in this drawing, but people tend to mix me up with a 16y old girl in real life to, so I guess it worked out pretty well)

Done in 10 minutes in Illustrator with a mouse (after 2 years of messing up with tablets, I gave up, so sold my tablet (Wacom A4))

Tales asked to have a different theme every week, this week should be the "portrait" week.. Only half the people that posted in this thread made a portrait.. The rest did some random scene/pose/monster :/ (not saying they're not good, just saying they're not portraits..)
