Well, my sister has bought a computer, and she says that she often gets little shocks from plugging in and unplugging things in the back of the computer, when on and sometimes when off. Anyone know what this is/what it could be and how she can fix it? thanks in advance.

Not sure how you can fix it. I got shocked a few times from my ancient computer's printer port.. I'd tell her to stop touching the back while it's plugged in, though.

Sounds like bad grounding to me, either in the PSU or in the actual wall socket. PSU upgrade might fix it, same with a new powerstrip. If neither of those work, you might need to get an electrician.
