Shield...

Lasers, and Discs can go through gohan's shield...which they really cant in the show...Plz fix this and dont put it off this time

It was meant to be like this. Splash damage, lazers, and disks can all go through the shield. The only thing the shield stops is a direct hit with a beam or ball.

Gohan shielded Goten, Trunks, and Videl from taking alot of dmg from the blast and killing them..

If you also watch dbz you'll know that Krillin stands a snowballs chance in hell fighting against any other Z Fighters.

You might also realise that Vegeta doesn't use many beams because they are powerful and would likely destroy the world.

In fact, you may even notice that Saiyans reach the SSJ stage through emotional stress and not a set powerlevel.

Of course this all changes in ESF due to one simple thing called Balancing. You see, the game would be no fun if it was like DBZ. Everyone would just use Goku because everyone else wouldn't be nearly as strong.

The shield is the way it is for balancing purposes. It's fine as is.

no offense, but your own fault for using the shield. You shouldnt have even posted this thread. Its not a matter of being a bug etc. that needs fixing, its a matter of the team wanting it that way. What the team wants in their mod, they can have. Get used to it JoeJustJoe.

how about a real shiled bug like that afterimage of the shield after its turned off. It drops my 30 FPS to about 10 if im luckey enough to have 30. Notmaly it gets me to 5 FPS. besides that its just anoying to see a ball in the sky for no reason

Why not make the shield block discs and lasers but, also give it a time limit, that way people can't be untouchable for long,plus give it a higher ki cost for each disc or laser.

cause that would bean taht Frieza wouldnt have unblockable moves. Right now Frieza is the unblockable guy. Like trunks is the melee guy.

If you add that than hed loose his place as the unblockable guy

Besides the shield is a lame way out if you ask me

Alright enough spam garbage in here. If you have a legitimate suggestion about the shield, post it in the appropriate forum. The shield is designed to be vulnarable to explosions and the previously mentioned attacks so that it doesn't make you invulnarable.
