no horror stories here im afraid. i used to run pro tools on a mac G4, for music recording. and it was suhweeeeeeeet =]

To be honest, I've been working with mac's for over 6 months now
They are perfect for the work they are created for to do

i have to say i do enjoy the option on the mac to make it speak text you have highlighted with different rythems and voice. my computer was speaking in like a death robot voice to the tune of the death march, it was hilariouse.

Aside from being slow, incompatible, pain in the ass to convert file types even though you're using the same set of programs, slow, one button? Anyway, I was trying to scan something on several macs. One refused to recognize the existence of the scanner, one would crash photoshop when I tried to scan, one would only take the sample scan and leave the main scan option greyed out. I had to go to 4 dif computers that day and waste a ton of time. And yes I know how to properly scan stuff. FFS just gimme a PC with a scanner x.x
