no horror stories here im afraid. i used to run pro tools on a mac G4, for music recording. and it was suhweeeeeeeet =]

Aside from being slow, incompatible, pain in the ass to convert file types even though you're using the same set of programs, slow, one button? Anyway, I was trying to scan something on several macs. One refused to recognize the existence of the scanner, one would crash photoshop when I tried to scan, one would only take the sample scan and leave the main scan option greyed out. I had to go to 4 dif computers that day and waste a ton of time. And yes I know how to properly scan stuff. FFS just gimme a PC with a scanner x.x
