[server] Linux server not starting

Hello friends.

I know a guy that was able to open a 24/7 linux server for esf, the problem is that we can't make it work:


LoadLibrary failed on ./esf/linuxdlls/hl_i386.so: ./esf/linuxdlls/hl_i386.so: undefined symbol: sqrt
Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from ./esf/linuxdlls/hl_i386.so!
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from ./esf/linuxdlls/hl_i386.so!

any help? ideas?

Just guessing here, as I haven't created a linux ESF server in ages.. try copy the DLL files from linuxdlls to dlls and or the other way around. Worth a shot.

Eeer.... not working.. even with folders changed in liblist

Any other ideas ?

I've run into this before, never really found a fix. I think Raven or Trex might know though, I'll ask them next time I see 'em on

Its like this.

Ever since a certain STEAM update a little over a year ago. Linux server got busted. Its fixed in 1.3 but not in 1.2

So the only 1.2 servers that one can have are windows im afraid.
