It's my birthday soon and I really need a new headset.. My current headset works, but the microphone is dead. So, I need a new one. Can anyone recommend me one? A microphone on the headset is a must. Let's say the prize range should be around 50 euro's, which is 66.15 U.S. dollars.

I was also thinking about getting a USB headset. Currently I'm using the onboard sound card (Asus P5K). If the headset's "sound card" (USB) is better than the on-board.. Then obviously I would take a USB Headset. But lets see what you folks have to share :).

Personally, I use a PC350, a great Headset by Sennheiser, I recommend against USB, though it is easier to pop in and out.

Got it for 120$ about a year ago in exchange for helping someone build their computer. It's an amazing Headset, I'd recommend not cheaping out with one.

Another common strategy is to buy Sennheiser HD555 + a Clip on Mic, infact, Amazon even recommends it because so many people do it.

Read the guide really, it has most of these suggestions in greater detail. I've kind of become a audiophile this past year, reading up on all the stuff, but I recommend this guy, ROB over @ Guru3D who knows...like everything there is to about audio.

Just to let you know again :):

2 of your links are way over-priced. Not looking for high-priced headsets I'm afraid. I'm also looking for a headset that has a mic attached to it, so I can talk much easier. But I'll check out the other links, thanks.
