Alright the season finally came to an end and my testing is now beginning for the lap band surgury. As many know i have had some heart problems and weight problems. Well talking with my family as well as a few doctors, i have come to the conclusion that this surgury is needed and that on tuesday of this week...my blood work and testing to prepare for the surgury begins.

Code:
http://www.obesitylapbandsurgery.com/index.html
that is the surgury for anyone that doesn't know. Now i know that i have been the main attraction to fat jokes but this may seriously change me and i just wanted to let you guys know that even though i have been inactive more so than recent years...i might be even more inactive in the upcoming months but i will keep you guys posted on the date and when it does happen.

thanks...just letting ya know

Are you doing this to get slim, or because your life depends of it?

Because if it is to get slim, this won't help.. Yes, you might be slim for some amount of time, but if you don't control it with a healthy diet, you'll gain wait in no time, even if they made your stomach smaller etc (it'll just expand)..

Anyway, good luck with the operation, be sure to hop by if you're back :)

Your going for that dangerous surgery that limits how much you can eat? I've heard if that band breaks or something, you'll die in an instant. Well, good luck man if you go through with it.

I doubt it. The most it'd do would be allow him more room to eat.

Don't sweat it, Saru. It's a pretty minor surgery, from what I read off that site.

Good luck. Dunno why but this reminded me of the Million Dollar Man.

Maybe you'll become better, stronger, faster.

GO SARU.

Knowing him, he could go into a wrestling match during surgury.

Hope for the best man :)

Eat less, exercise, and eat healthier. You don't need any damn surgery. Just diet.

i have been dieting for years now...i have come to realize that my will power just isn't good enough for me to control my eating. I eat healthy just the amount i eat is unhealthy. I know a lot of people say that there is no need for surgery...tell me that when you are over 100 pounds overweight. It isn't as easy as people think it is

Well, sorry to say this, Sarutobi, but if you don't have the will power to control your munchies, this operation won't help.. I've seen plenty of people get this sort of surgery, and yes, they do lose a lot of weight.. But years later, they're back at where they started, just because they couldn't control their eating.

This stuff you're going to do, is a nice jump to skip the whole dieting process, I'll give you this, but once you reach your perfect weight, be sure to control your eating, because if you don't, the time and money spent on this surgery, will be lost..

And if you think I know nothing about this stuff.. My mom was big too, infact, she was huge.. She tried all sorts of diets, all sorts of pills.. Nothing helped.. She went to her doctor and he recommended not an operation, but Weight Watchers.. Now, 3 years later, she lost 42kg (kilograms).. My dad and I supported her and joined in with the whole dieting thing.. I lost 26kg and my dad 20kg.. Just because you learn to control your eating.. Now, around the same time my mom started, several of her friends and people we know (also in the family), had an operation to make their stomach smaller and stuff like that.. Most of them lost weight way faster than my mom.. But if you look at it now, my mom is the only one still at her perfect weight.. The rest didn't control their eating and they gained weight.

So really.. I'm not trying to say that you don't need an operation.. Just saying that it's a waste of efford, time and money if you won't be able to control your eating afterwards.

Hell when you hungry your gonna eat.. no matter what you want. Its like porn.. you know you shouldn't, but you still do.

After the op go see a dietitian (sp) and ask them to recommend a eating plan or do what ever it is that they do to determine a way for you to eat less.

I've got full faith you'll be fine buddy.

I know someone who had this surgery, and it worked 100%. 5 years later, they're 160 lbs lighter still, healthy, active, and eating great.

Damn man. I hope for the best. I've never really known you, but I hear you're somewhat of a legendary player in ESF. You better pull through this surgery so I'll have my chance against you some day.

Numa Numa to you, good sir!

For the record to everyone thinking this is stupid because he could just "eat less, excersize more" his life depends on this.

Like I said, good luck. I'll be there if you need to talk. And I'll be thinking about you during the surgery. Is it still in January?
