Sammy - Sega

I just found out about this from this forum I haven't been to in the longest, luckily the topic was still up, and this news sprung up around May of this year... But how many of you knew about Sammy buying Sega?

I didn't know they merged till just now... If anything I think the companies will be stronger now if they have merged. I went out on the web to find news about this just incase for those of you who didn't know about this:

yeh I heard about this quite a while ago, Im sure I heard somwhere that sammy wanted sega to focus more on like certain games or something like that. But yeh I guess its a good move for both companies

Holy crap, I knew things were bad for Sega, their president kicking the bucket, being billions in debt, but I didn't think they would be bought by some 3rd party company from Japan. That kinda sucks.
