Ack. A toothbrush? This is hard >_<. Maybe a new bone? Yeah. Some surgical item you get when some part of your body is gone (i.e. arm from shotgun?)

no not a toothbrush, you buy more than one of those dont you? (thats the most common answer =p)

a new bone, thats one ive never heard before.... you would probably buy that yourself though (or insurance).

alright i guess its time for some more hints

I am something that will probably be bought for you by a member of your family.
From the moment you get me, you will use me everday from then on. (Once in use I will not be un-used.)
Once you recieve me you will not recieve/need another.
Everyone uses me eventually.
When I am in use you will not see me.
What am I?

another good answer, but you usualy buy that for yourself, plus you need to keep making payments.

*this thing is a solid piece of something, not a contract or vaccination. you could call it an item. also thiink about things as if you were an independant adult and you do most things for yourself.*

it is something you can touch, it is not small enough to hold in the palm of your hand.

*edit*

Gman got it.
and Magus is disqualified cuz he asked me in a PM. =p
but i got lots of pie, so thats good.

*double edit*

GMan or Magus, both of you know the answer so you guys can give hints too. try not to give it away =p.

Nothing

Very common riddle, but I believe the original is a bit more complex.

My one:

Two men are walking down the street and two women are walking towards them. One of the men says, "there goes my wife and my daughter." But then the other man also says, "there goes my wife and my daughter." How is this possible? (Many people bang their heads over this one, but the answer is actually very simple.)

one of the woman has a baby in her arms or is pregnant..... otherwise it is impossible. or there is soemthing you forgot to mention.

unless of course they arent talking about the women walking towards them......

They are talking about the women in question.

Like I said, the answer is very simple, but people often offer up a variety of convoluted answers that are always amusing to watch ;)

Yea that one was simple but it could have multiple answers such as: both men married their children.
