Is there a config file that records the currently selected screen resolution?

Ive accidently set my resolution to something higher than what my monitor takes, and all I get is a black screen. If i can somehow change that figure without using the UI it would save a total backup and reinstall.

Try to use safe mode to get into the GFX card properties and change the default there.

Doesnt help. No matter what resolution I set my card to, whenever ESF starts up it will go to the resolution I had last set (1152x864?), and since my CRT only goes up to 1024x768 I cant see the UI to change it back.

:S

If I reinstall, it should reset all the video options shouldnt it?

Wait thats just in your ESF?

Then all you need to do is a force resolution startup ^^

Just add "-w <variable>" as a parameter for the shortcut, where the variable is the width for the desire resolution.

So a "-w 1024" would give you a resolution of 1024x768

After that change it ingame ^^

Ahhh excellent, thanks guys!

I knew there had to be some dev shorthand to change resolution ^_^
