Must I have Half-Life to play ESF?
And can I play ESF only over the internet?

Yes, you need a copy of half-life and a steam account. You can also play esf alone with the built in bots (create your own server & then press = to bring up the bot menu).

Yes you can play ESF over the internet. It is a multiplayer game after all.
