But, I'm inclined to disagree with the concept of global warming being completely our fault. It just seems like a scheme to improve industry standards and get out of from under the iron fist of Saudi Arabia.

It's not our fault.. the belief that humans and industry have a huge impact on global warming is greatly exaggerated. The global climate is much like the economy, it operates on sin wave theory. It's all cycles, it can't be fixed or made worse. I wrote my senior paper on this topic, and I'm working on getting my Doctorate in Meteorology... so if you wanna discuss this, drop me a PM.
