Yeah i've been real busy playing the Real Life MMORPG, and ive been stuck at the school quest for some time. I'm at the 3rd level, and i just cant seem to pass anything. Any tips?

I've tried hacks, and cheats, but i always end up in the office.

Also the "go buy mom groceries" sidequest is a toughy.

I'd imagine you want to beef up your points in Focus and Study Habits 1...then move onto Study Habits 2. Alternately, you can go into the Punk skill set and take up Rebellion 1...but I'll warn you now, your reputation falls through the floor to start with.

Hope this helps o_O

Study Habits is a waste of points really, but it would help in the long run but what i care about is the present :D so i say focus on the sports ability points and have fun with the bad grades

Pfft.. the school quest isnt necessary to beat the game. Just do like i did and skip it all together. Even the Bum class is capable of making it.

I just started playing this recently, actually. I just finished up the introduction and learned the mechanics and all of Real Life. It's not too complicated, though I've only gotten as far as the kindergarted section. My character's reputation and education levels are pretty good so far, but I kinda wanna see if I can make him into a bully or something. Hopefully once I get onto the first grade level, I'll be able to start picking on kids and such. I suppose saving fro rebellion 1 is probably the best way to start, huh?

*edit*

Bah, the bum sounds boring. Then again, it could be kinda fun once you're out of the childhood stage.

Oh, definitely. I can vouch for Rebellion 1. It gives you a bit of an edge, and if you mix that with Focus, it can really come in handy in the 4th gradient and up. It lets you get your reputation and education high, but it makes you less vulnerable to the vagrant bully classes that wander about the area. I'd say you have a really intriguing strategy developing. Perhaps I will restart and group up with you ^_^

If you are gona go down that path, Karrde, at about grade 8-9, depending on how you build up, make sure you say YES to drugs. I did. I regret it though, it seems that it takes alot more to build up your focus / study habits, so i might just go down the Bum path like SM.

BTW, what servers do y'all play on? I play on Random.USEAST.net

Yeah though I don't care much about study habits. I'm trying to go for a tough guy athlete type who gets into college on an athletic scholarship. Maybe a pro swimmer or something.

As for servers I play on a server run by a friend of mine out of our university. FR31.Umn.edu. It's not a huge server but it has almost no lag for ppl on decent connections. I also get access to the secret areas of the game.

All you get from the School quest is a diploma and a good-paying job.

true, but if you play smart, there is alot of money in aprenticeships, the trades, and even drug dealing.

Yea, but the diploma puts your reputation through the roof! It's all about the bonuses. Sure, the school interlude quest takes a fair bit of time, but it can boost any number of class sets to quite a degree. And the good-paying job quest is quite something, I can't wait to get that far, but as I said earlier, I'm going back the 1st eductation gradient, where Karrde is - I rather liked some of his ideas for class skill distribution.

Well, I probably won't be getting any further until next week because of class so if ya wanna go back to where I'm at, Maj, go ahead. I'll be on the server sometime so just look for me. There's no password so you'll be able to get right in.

I don't know... at first it was hard to level up. I then realized I missed some key items in the school quest. I wouldn't normally recommend the drug dealing quest unless you have a high charisma modifier. The memory and scale reading enhancement feats also help... your intelligence modifier suffers though. It is sad to see fellow players lose their speed feats to fast food. Their armor class does shoot through the roof though.

When it comes to vehicles... I'm still searching for the unlimited gasoline gem. Oh and Ghost... you probably have to complete the study quest.
