Ready paints on canvas

So I decided to post my progress here as well


Started to paint with acryl on Friday, 100 x 70 cm in size

the vector ref image I prepared (took a bleach pic and messed around with it an evening to get that vector image )

Another layer of red and yellow next, then fixing some black parts and the fine lines and stuff and then I call it done

looking good man :O If I was you I would've undercoated the eyes and red areas in white first,its hard working up from black

Makes me wanna do some traditional painting, i haven't painted properly in about 5 years

Yeah I thought the same when I started with the red .. but its my first acryl painting ... noobie mistakes ^^

I'm almost done I guess ... only needs like 30 more minutes of work to fix up a few last black lines
Currently thinking about Kami's suggestion to use more then one tone of red for the blood and stuff ...
