how the hell do u guys get such crisp colors with gif images? ive tried it and all i get is a complete piece of crap with 256 colors

Well if you are talking about your sigs, they look pretty good to me.

Working with a high res pic and shrinking it down works for me . . .

i was mainly refering to images in general cause my program only has the 256 color option when creating a gif so i get straight crap when i try to create a gif image

and i just use high quality images so it always looks good

I had a Gif sig and there was nothing wrong with it all i did when saving it was increase the size of the file and that automatically made the image more crisper.
What program you got Adobe Photoshop/Imageready?
