1. Whatever Happened to POTW? Was it taking up too much time?
2. We did a poll on having demo/alpha released of the 1.0 final whatever happened to that? I don't see how people didn't want a demo/alpha released over full game.
3. Is it still too late to have a demo released?

1.) We kinda stopped that once we moved from sunday only meetings to "just loliter online" style ^^;
2.) That wasnt about a demo release. It was about a finished game with less character transformations VS finished game with all character transformations. So the coding and all that still need to be finished ragardless.
3.) To release a demo you need a game that is fully functional. Not something we have yet. When we do have it, then why bother with a demo when the whole thing is available. Demos are used to sell you a game. ESF is free so the whole concept kinda falls flat.

Ah thank you, then one last question, what about the final beta 1.3? Why was that at least "fixed to have bots" , not to mention nobody makes a server on there to play...so kinda useless to download it except to check it out.

The original plan for the open beta was to have it be just that. An open beta.

We would update it with stable enough releases and the people playing it would help us by reporting bugs they found.

The result was that people complained about the bugs, telling us to go **** ourselves for releasing such a crappy game and didnt report jack shit. So we scrapped that idea after 2 years of nothing but extra work, and went back to the original internal textversion only route.

Aw man, that sucks. Well thanks for answering my questions Grega. Open Beta 1.3 seemed so much better than 1.2.3. We could of been playing that old version with the April Fools back in 2013 xD
