those updates on the home page is very attractive, but how can i get it? i tried to download the 1.3 openbeta, but it doesnt have the new character selection screen and all the things in those updates that was put on the home page.

Those updates are for an upcoming release, the open beta release is just a small teaser, to see what people thought of the game and to find bugs. The most played release out at the moment is 1.2.3 since it has hardly any bugs and all attacks work.
