Hy guys! How high-poly are the characters from the new esf?

Are they texture on a plane ?:))))
By the way will they still be .mdl ? Because i would like to create some characters for the game and i would like to know how many polygons do you characters have and other details.

We use round 6k polygons, and while they still are .MDL files, we use our own compiler for the extended animation count and texture resolution.

All construction tools you need for custom content will be released with the game, excepting things that will allow you to alter gameplay (like damages, speed, etc) since we want to keep our game as it is instead of having a bajillion servers each with their own settings.

Yea you will get the tools for map, model compiling with the game along with the map/effects part of the XML tool. And a HUD XML tool if we ever make one. If we dont make the HUD tool, then creating custom HUDs will mean writing XML files by hand.
