Ps2 still worth?

i´d like to know if a ps2 is still worth.

my bro sold the ps2 with 2 joysticks, one memory card + 4 games (budokai 2,kingdom hearts, and 2 other)

and he dont want to buy it back since he wasnt allowed to sell it and didnt had the money.

so i asked my dad how can i make money so i could buy a ps2 maybe with some games.

he made a deal with me.

now i wanna know:

is a ps2 still worth these days`? i mean i wanna play kh2 that much and even kh again... and some finalfantasy games also. but the next gen is coming allready.


a ps2 costs here like 100€ ...

I bought the slim ps2 exactly one year ago, and I have to say im enjoying every second playing it =D
But...I got it with chip builded in...so....you know...=P...yeah...

All I can say is that ps2 owns all, now and for ever =D PS2 FTW \o/

Even after the Ps3 comes out, Ps2 games will still be being made for a long time coming simply because of the price of next gen. A Ps2 will still be a great gaming system for the next 2 or 3 years.

Truth be told, I never got much use out of my PS2. The only games I have for it that I like are the Grand Theft Autos and Ace Combat 4 and 5. My brother plays the hell out of madden though.
