Protocol?

Hi Im new to the forum here.

So my prob is that when i try to join a game it says "You cannot join a game with a different Protocol". And when i click internet games it says that my ESF exe is out of date, even though i d/l'd it yesterday (1.0)

Any information would be alot of help! Thx!

Right, my HL Update thing says its up to date.

Now when i try to create a game i get "ESF.exe is out of date, check internet for updates?"

And i still get that prob when i try to join a game PLZ HELP!!!

Well if you have CS retail, make sure you are having itg in your CS folder with the CS 1.5 update. if you have Half-Life, make sure it is in the Half Life folder with the Half Life patch 1.1.1.0, and I have had a similar problem, I uninstalled ESF, re-installed it, along with the Half Life patch (just in case)
