program error

i downloaded a progra called particle illusion and when i try to run the installer i get

c:\windows\system32\autoexec.net. the system is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose 'close' to terminate the application.

anyone know what to do, i checked their websites FAQ and help thing and didnt find anythign relating to this

anyone have a clue as to what i should try

Given the sound of the file name, I'm guessing your going to have to install Microsoft's .net framework for the installer to work properly perhaps.
