Problems

I need help, i fully installed the game and had no problems with the installation and when i try to play the game, i get a stupid thing that says that i need to get the most recent updates for the ESF excuble file, but i just downloaded the most recent(as far as i know version 1.2.3) and then it sends me to a downloader, to update my Halflife and it comes up that theri are no updates, so im very confussed, I need Help can someone help me please


Also is their any plans for the game to be put out on the Source engine casuer that would be awsome
