Everytime I join a server in beta the game crashes and freezes my system, WHY?Oneof you give me an answer please

Hmmm.. What display more are you running in? (Open gl, Direct 3d, or Software?)
Maybe your pc is just too slow, im not sure though.

256 megs of rams
and 64 meg vidieo card

if you can get off of software.. just type 'cl_fxquality 0' in the console

I have this problem too, I go in, choose a class, it shows my character model in the center of the screen in the map and then I have to reboot computer.

56megs of ram? your kidding, both of u need better comps or u will experience crashes....Solution buy new hardware and 32megs of video ram just doesnt cut it anymore and esf is quite a hungry game with all the beams etc

I'm running on less than Cell's specs.

PIII 933 Mhtz
256 MB SDram
64 meg Voodoo 5 PCI

He's GOTTA be running it on software because I get about 70 FPS continually playing ESF.

erm those specs that you were referring to belonged to his dad's pc
his pc is a lot lower classed then yours
