Problem with installer

Hello,

I tried installing ESF 1.2.3 on two different computers, and both give the same result:

I go through the installer, up until where the path is defined. But there the Install button is disabled, so I can't continue the install.

HL1 is installed, so are CS1.6, Blue Shift etc, all under Steam.
This happens both when Steam is running and when it's closed.
The path in the installer is correct.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Well, I had exactly the same problem yesterday, I've installed 1.3 OPEN BETA and then the 1.2.3, it works.

But I can't explain why ^^

Well, I went to download the 1.3 open beta, and on that page I read a comment that said 'run HL1 atleast once'. Which I hadn't done.

Having done that the installer seems to be working fine, so yay =)

it doesnt let me press ok when i choose a folder and i downloaded steam.

ESF 1.2.3 requires Half Life to play. Try a reinstall.
