Problem with graphics

Hey guys, I need help. I'm playing esf beta 1.1 (I can't install 1.2 and I don't want to) and the graphics are all crappy. Now I downloaded some screenshots of other players playing esf beta 1.1 and I can see their graphics are much better. The same happens when I play half life, so I thought that it's because I have a version of half life with crappy graphics. Am I right or am I wrong?

Stop using Software mode and swich to Open GL ^^

Its under Video options.

Thanx so much Grega! The graphics are so much better now! I didn't use OpenGL cuz my video card doesn't support it, but I used Direct3D ad the graphics are GREAT! You really are a genius!!!
