Problem on Opening ESF 1.3

Hi can who help me ?! all the time i open ESF 1.3 the program close ... when i'm installing the ESF 1.3 the setup don't creat an shortcut on Desktop ... and i open by Half Life > Change game .... but in 10 seconds or more the program close =/ all the time what can i do ?!

You are not using STEAM.

You cant use 1.3 without STEAM.
