I'm not too sure if someone already suggested this, but I'll continue with my idea.

I think the flying speed of characters should depend on their power levels. I find it actually very accurate to the show if you think about it, the higher power level, the faster right?(Excluding USSJ).

I think each character should all start off at the same speed, but each individual has varying speeds. For instance, Gohan with 3 Mil. PL Can't be as fast as a Goku with 3 Mil PL, but a Gohan with 4 Million will be as equal in speed to a Goku with 3 Mil PL.

SSJ should only increase Power Level, since speed is already dependant on Power level, it will increase as well.

Currenty ingame, a SSJ with 2 Mil PL can be as fast as a non-trans with 10 Mil PL. I don't think that makes sense at all.

If you find any flaws with this Idea, I would appreciate it if you listed them down.

Thats not what hes talking about. Hes saying that as your pl gets higher (without transing, mind you), your speed will increase.

Speed will never depend on PL, as that would even further unbalance the game in favor of experienced players. They already do more damage, and inherantly understand how to play the game better than most of the community, but now they'd be faster than everyone too.

I really don't understand how this would effect gameplay. Most experienced players transform and beat on the newbs anyways.

Either way, the newbs lose no matter how you put it.

But this would make them lose more. It probably doesn't matter to you much because you're not among the lower class that I come from (the nubcake class)

But doing that makes it even more unfair towards n00bs and then they will stop playing. Because the way it is now gives them more of a chance to survive.

off-topic: Are those speeds up there really how they are gonig to be? if so then that will ROCK!!!!! best speeds and transform pl i've ever seen.

Are you shure you got this from the outline >.> Since i see USSJ2 and SSJ2 for Trunks and Old Krillin in there. Also piccolo form 4 >.<

If you ask me you got that from a fan mod >.>

In any case bad idea. Just imagine what youd do with 50 million PL. You wouldnt be able to hit a thing that isnt in a straight line.

I highlighted the stuff that aint in the outline of ESF. And i also found Vegeta USSJ and piccolo form 4 in there >.<

If you ask me thats from EVM more than from ESF

lol, that's true, because I can easily get that strong and I don't want to get a disadvantage for that power, just use superbots and make their pl begin on 100 000 000.

You guys are thinking way beyond the boundry lines.

The speed of a character isn't going to increase dramtically if they have a huge sum of power level.

For instance, no matter how much power level you have, it has a capped limit at a given point.

Each character's speed should increase by +2 for ever 500k pl you gain.

Also, the speeds probably do give an advantage over the noobs.

You don't seem to understand, no matter how good you are, speed is critical in melee. Small differences in speed can make a huge difference in gameplay for people that are on close to equal footing, and it's only worse when one player is far better than another. In other words, if you're a pro just entering a server where people have been playing for 20 minutes, you're not going to be as fast as the people that are just as good as you, or the people that are worse than you, or the people that are better than you. You get a fixed disadvantage for just not being around for the entire match. New people would always be at this disadvantage, and that doesn't encourage learning or anything else, it tells them that if they suck, their character will suck too. That is not very DBZ friendly.

Ok, you admitted it. The worse players can provide a bit of resistance now but like Sonic Boyster said, even the better players will be at a disadvantage. Is it really fair to give someone an advantage because they entered the server 10 minutes before another guy?

First off, I'm really trying not to debate this issue.

I'm just trying to improve my idea.

I would really appreciate it if you guys give some suggestions instead of saying:

"Hey, it's a huge advantage, the idea stinks"

It's not really getting anywhere.

The reality is the game would be more *fair* if you made the better players slower, so that the new people would have an advantage to balance things out. That would never happen, because we shouldn't punish good players in order to make the game more even for new ones. Your suggestion performs the opposite, rewarding good players by giving them an advantage, even if it is a small one. This is the opposite of fair for everyone involved. Further, a good player enters a server with a low PL and is slower than all of the newbies. It makes it hard to chase someone who only runs away when you're slower than they are, and it makes it impossible to beat somebody as good as you are.

I think the idea itself is fundamentally flawed, but if you can fix it so that, somehow, it isn't unfair to A.) New players and B.) Low PL players you can make it work. Right, I think it's just flawed to begin with. You want something constructive to improve your idea but I can't think of anything that would make it work better, because in order to balance the idea you'd have to add a disadvantage to having a high PL too, and nobody wants that.

For fair gameplay, is hard to think of, but as of now, the game already isn't that balanced itself.

Let's just see what 1.3 has waiting, then I'll suggest my idea later.

How about the current speed is max. You start with a speed of min. About 10 slower than max.

When you get to the transform PL you speed is max. While gaining PL to that level you speed increases the same way. 10%(of the hole betwean starting PL and transform PL) gain = +1 speed

Lets take Goku and lets say his speed is (200)
His starting PL is 750.000 his trans PL is 1.750.000 so thats 1 million difrence.

His starting speed would be 190. And for each 100k PL he got his speed would go 1 up.

When he got to 200 speed it wouldnt increase anymore in normal form.
So a Goku at 1.050.000 PL would have a speed of 193

As for Trunks. His difrence is 300.000 so each 30.000 PL he gets his speed increases by 1 untill he gets to max.

Pros:
-Trunks and Gohan are slower characters but with this they would increase there speed faster cause they transform faster to even out with the faster ones.
-it gives you a feeling that you are actualy becomming stronger and faster

Cons:
-should not be ussed due to balance issues (yes im talking krillin) por guy would have to gain 340.000 PL to gain 1 speed point

There is your idea. If you can balance it out so it works for all characters than im OK with it. Till than i dislike my own idea.

(Been trying to balance thisone out for quite some time now. But sadly no results yet :s)

I'd say Grega's version of it would work perfectly because if you look at the series

they already did 200 moves in a second there

The esf gameplay is too slow it needs to be bumped up somehow

it will be faster. There will be so many tran's, they had to slow down the characters or else when you get to super sayin 3, it will be too fast to play the game.

Nothing is too fast when you get used to it especially a game
