Quick question...

Why is there lava or molten something inside buu? :-/

Anyway, the scale of stuff is outstanding. The beam size compared to the player models and the shear size of the map compared to the models blows me away. And I'm sure that the next PoTW will amaze us even more.
Very nice work guys!

1) The image isn't doctored
2) It's a river of stomach acid, not molten lava
3) The level is much larger than it was in the show because you need room to melee and such. You don't want to get stuck in small cramped areas
4) The map is only about 40% complete. The textures, lighting and geometry have quite a ways to go before being final

Thanks for the comments all, I hope everyone enjoys it once we release.

And the PS1 console had 30 yet noone complained >.>

Still activate V-Sync and tell me if you get over 60 ^^
You mean deactivate V-Sync?

Having v-sync on limits it to 60fps.

V-Sync locks your FPS to the refresh rate of your monitor, but takes a little more power since you're waiting for the full frame to render before displaying it. People turn vsync off to increase their performance when they're not getting up to their refresh rate. The downside is screen tears.

But isn't V-Sync required only for Direct3D? From what I know the OpenGL mod doesn't have screen tearing problems and you guys said in a old thread that ESF is running on OpenGL mod not Direct3D.

Buu vs Buu... INSIDE Buu... Buutiful? Buutastic? Buuloon?

I've been waiting for a cave-like map for awhile. This definately works, but, I'm still hoping for a Dr. Gero's Lab inspired masterpiece.

It doesnt as far as i can see, perhaps your mistaking it for the shader effect on the model.

That is of course if the shader your referring to even does spec on the model there- that might just be textured... I don't claim to know it all. But yeah that black line there isn't normal. I doubt it's a shader issue, unless theres a normal issue on that seam or something- I dunno.

_wheres is right. The model does have normals and specular but it's not a shader issue unfortunaly it's a seam :- \

I'll do it Karrde. It's never pretty, but I think I excel at informing people that they're fired.
