Posts in the off-topic section of the forum do not add on to your total post count.

Either that or you pissed the mods off and they locked your post count, and you have 27, thats one more that 26 :)

Oh, while were on the subject, what power do mods have over peoples posts and accounts?

a normal mod can only moderate their assigned forums, which means they can stick, close, ect. but have no control over accounts

a super-mod has control ova all d forums and people's accounts (almost all control)

admin is god :p

Yes, and a normal mod can give warnings in any section, regardless of any forum they are assigned, especially if there are no other mod are online and a thread has become particularly nasty.

This has become quite the rumor . . . only Administrators can edit accounts or post counts. The only difference between mods and super mods is rank and the ability to use moderator commands in certain forums, or all forums.

As for the post count, the forum is likely catching up, it will update it eventually.

So there you have it. Take every mod seriously in every section and there will be no problems. Post count isn't the most important factor of the forums either. If it really becomes an issue you can PM a moderator and see if he'll get a word in with an admin to see what's up.

Now that this thread has answered both the topic and the off-topic inqueries, I think it's safe to close it now, before people start asking more off topic questions! Remember, there is an off-topic forum for this kind of thing.
