tryforce, ive never spent more than £15 on my shoes, and i laugh at you for doing so, on the grounds that shoes arent meant to be stylish, they are meant to be comfortable, and protect your feet. and i guarentee, my £15 trainers will last just as long as your £70 ones, if not longer >_>

and if you judge anyone by their trainer again (ie. laughing at them for being poor) your getting a warning.

Well here in berlin they dont have such shoes... because yesterday i was in many shops of shoes...

i havnt seen anyshoes like this... but i think you need to go in a skate shop.. may they have them. Maybe in ur footlocker they have some.

in seriousness though, why is "fashion" so important to some people? i just cant fathom it... the only expensive clothes i have, are the suits that ive bought. other than that ill wear anything i find kicking around my floor/drawers/cupboard.

being "in" to me is just people wasting money on the same t-shirt i have, just with a different name splattered on it >_>

I would explain it like that:

Everybody like to express hisself. me for example wanna express myself as a ghetto/hip Hop/rap human wich really love black ppl and wich love to dance/listin to music and staff... thats Fashion. Ppl buy things because they want to express theirself! if a skater is going to buy skater shoes..he want to express hisself as a Skater.

Althought i dont think that you would just buy ballet shoes to walk outside or? Would you?
Also if everybody would look like each other it would be boring. Also clothing is a part of community. for example. A Hard rocker wont automaticly talk to one hip Hoper because he see that the Hip hopper is not in the same interest then the himself.

I hope you get my point. People are the world. and People want to express theirself. And to explain theirself they need to buy fashion wich they think is nice to theirself.
